In some Judaic practices, glass dishware can be used for both milk and meat due to its transparency and impermeability. However, this intersection of generic manufactured utensils and deep religious dietary practices creates a disconnect from their actual meaning.

The potential for utensils to enhance the experiential aspect of consuming food in a religious context.
CRITIQUE
By designing glass-like spoons for meat that incorporate bone elements, users can connect more directly with the food source and its religious intent. Creating an ornate spoon with restrictive decorative elements prompts pause and reflection to digest these systems. These utensils are reimagined as tools intended for deepened religious experience and understanding, rather than merely standardized functional objects with projected, less apparent meaning.
